Advanced Meisner Technique

Prerequisite: Meisner Technique (Acceptance by Interview Only - Call to Book an Interview)
Description:
As an extension of the Meisner Technique class, the Advanced Meisner class will explore a fusion of Meisner and Uta Hagen's approaches to acting in the Fall, Meisner monologues in the Winter and Meisner showcase scene study in the spring. While continuing study throughout the year is not mandatory, enrolling in this class for a period of 36 weeks will provide an in-depth understanding into the approach generally referred to as 'Method Acting'; the technique of creating a character from the authentic and spontaneous self.
