Essentials of Film & TV

Prerequisite: Essentials of Acting or Equivalent (Enrollment at Instructor's Discretion)
Description:
The fundamentals of on-camera technique are introduced through scene work and an exploration of the audition process. The
actor works on new sides (scenes) each week, simulating the demands of auditioning for film and TV.
The instructor works individually with each actor, assisting them in crafting an authentic performance for the camera. This six-week workshop
culminates in a mock audition, with the instructor taking on the role of casting director. Marketing the actor and important
tips for improving audition skills are also included in this class.
Schedule: New Session Beginning Saturday, April 5th, 10:00am-1:00pm x 6
weeks
with a second session beginning May 17th
Cost: $315.00 plus GST
